Civil Marriage Ceremonies
Civil marriage ceremonies can be held in the Banqueting Hall which seats up to 120 guests, Ball Room for up to 110 guests, or the Morning Room for up to 60 guests. The Banqueting Hall and Morning Room are situated on ground floor and so suitable for disabled access.
Banqueting
Halswell can seat up to 182 seated guests for dining in the following format:
- The State Banqueting Hall can seat up to 102 guests but this can be increased by utilizing two adjacent linked banqueting rooms. The Rococo Morning Room and Panelled Bow Room can each seat 40 seated guests bringing the maximum capacity to 182 guests. This format is well suited whereby speeches initiate the wedding breakfast, the very popular latest fashion.
- For large gatherings you can utilise a wedding pavilion by the lake for dining for an additional charge.
Overnight Accommodation
Halswell itself accommodates up to 67 guests in 30 rooms.
- An additional 32 guests can be accommodated in the Halswell Cottages by special arrangement. Please call our office on: 0845 204 1066 to discuss.
- All our rooms are en-suite except the Standard range.
- Overnight accommodation includes Continental Buffet Breakfast.
- Room facilities include toiletries, travel iron and board, hair-dryer, tea and coffee making facilities, and biscuits, and thermostatically adjustable 24 hour central heating.
